Various issues with Apple phones and hearing aids

I come across various connectivity issues with Oticon, Resound, Widex and Starkey hearing aids and Apple phones.

We’ve already published an article about Apple Watches effectively stopping audio notifications to hearing aids – due to some decision by Apple.

This morning, a client noted that in her OTICON INTENT 1 hearing aids, the ring tone had stopped playing through the hearing aids.

The fix was to put the iPhone on ‘silent’. This corrected the issue.
